What is a Moisturiser?

Usually in cream, gel or lotion form, a moisturiser is a product that delivers hydration to the skin and helps keep moisture locked in.
It can be formulated with hydrating ingredients such as hyaluronic acid or squalane, for example.
Every skin type, even oily skin, will benefit from using the correct moisturiser, as it helps to rebalance natural sebum production and strengthen the skin barrier.
