What is SPF?

SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor.
It’s a measurement of protection of your skin from UVB and UVA rays from the sun that can cause dehydration, burning and long-term skin damage.
In the world of skincare, SPF should be used daily, as the last step of your routine before applying makeup.
It’s universally recognised as the most important skincare product. SPF helps to prevent damage that can cause things like discolouration and signs of ageing, but it also helps prevention of skin cancer.
SPF isn’t just for sunny days either - you need the protection 24/7, even on grey, rainy days!
